Dreams Really Do Come True
Happy holidays!
Well guys… it happened.

I saw my hero Cole Escola IRL at “Oh, Mary!” on ole Broadway
Is it dramatic to say ‘there was before Oh, Mary! and after Oh, Mary!’ ? Maybe. And though it’s early in the “after,” and some of this “after” might also be affected by just being in New York around Christmas, but I feel changed. I feel like, “Why the hell not?”
Why the hell not make Mary Todd Lincoln a closeted cabaret star?
Why the hell not make a Wicked movie? Or a Gladiator II?
Why the hell not spend hours researching new haircuts and salons in my area and to spontaneously chop it all off at my hometown Great Clips the day before Thanksgiving for $18?
…
I truly aim to carry that mentality into the holiday season and into the new year. Try and stop me (please don’t actually my ego is fragile).

Round Up:
Things I like right now.
Cat Cohen’s Comedy Album Overdressed is out now and a is perfect cathartically funny holiday treat. According to Rolling Stone’s coverage, “..it contains both classic pop sounds and Cohen’s signature comedy blend of both begging for attention and railing about the internet’s obsession with astrology and party photos.” What more do you need?
Check out Overdressed Now!
New Anthony Jeselnik special, Bones and All out on Netflix now! (Don’t watch this with your family members if they are squeamish)
Truly a great article and epic SNL reunion in New York Magazine
Vulture making me wanna stay here for a while…
Mike Schur’s new show, The Man on the Inside, on the other hand, you should definitely watch with your parents or whoever you’re spending the holidays with. Who doesn’t love Ted Danson? The Schurniverse just keeps getting wider and wider in topics funny for the whole family without being too cheesy and elementary, and Ted as an undercover in a nursing home is no exception.
I mean, are you kidding
Literally anything by David Sedaris is just a great holiday read. I read Holidays on Ice every December. If you’re into essays and quick reads that tickle your brain just enough while making you feel smarter, look no further.
James Acaster Special, Hecklers Welcome out now on Max. Very fun, very energetic, ‘kinda out there’ in the best way! This would’ve been so. fun. to have attended, and you can’t say that for all stand up specials.
Wicked Auditions SNL Sketch. We looooove a topical SNL.

Broad City Start Guide
A few of my friends recently have confided in me they are big fans of that sound bite going around right now “In the clurb, we all fam” from Comedy Central/FX’s Broad City, but don’t know the show yet. I consider this borderline blasphemy and have decided to take it upon myself to list some of my favorite episodes to get those friends (who shall remain nameless) started.
What a Wonderful World (S1.E1)- okay yeah maybe just start from the beginning? idk.
The Last Supper (S1.E10)
Wisdom Teeth (S2.E3)
Hashtag FOMO (S2.E5)
Kirk Steele (S2.E8)
Game Over (S3.E3)
B&B-NYC (S3.E7)

You’re welcome
