She’s baaaaaaaack.

I’m glad to know I am not the only Angelino who is celebrating the new year a few months late. And as much as I’d like to say I’ve been taking Q1 to reassess and revamp this newsletter, I can’t.

So it’s finally time, we can all talk the hot goss of comedy once again, and maybe go to some shows together? Thanks for your patience, all. It’s an honor and a privilege to serve.

Things I like right now

  • Good Hang with Amy Poehler. The comedy podcast Gods are smiling down on us in 2025. Thank you to Amy, the rest of her team, and Tina Fey for making my hour long commute this morning somehow euphoric.

  • Not always comedy, but The Moth’s social platforms have been firing lately. If you’re unfamiliar, The Moth is a nonprofit organization that puts on storytelling events all over the world. The Moth Radio Hour is a great listen and their TikTok is the perfect break in your feed to retrain your attention span.

  • John Mulaney hosting Evrybody’s Live on Netflix Wednesdays 7PM PST. Long live the offbeat comedy. He’s just THAT good I guess. 

  • Um hello this SNL lineup is wild

  • Oscars conclusion (I’m a few weeks late and you didn’t as but you shall receive) 

    • You already know….Conan at the Oscars. My guy absolutely crushed, feels like this is what he was born to do. Let the era of longtime hosts return PLEASE. Maybe Billy crystal will make a grand return… ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
