Mondays, man
There’s a lot going on in the world today, making it feel kinda weird to write a comedy newsletter or work at a silly comedy company sometimes.
Just coming on here to acknowledge that there will always be something tragic happening at the same time as something hilarious or awkward or beautiful. As uncomfortable as it may be, two can be true at the same time, just like Addison Rae’s new album- ridiculous, yet low key groovy.
That being said, stay safe and stay smart Los Angeles, I love youuuuuu

Round Up
Things I like right now
2 new specials I am into!!! Sarah Silverman and Mike Birbiglia’s new Neflix specials tug at them heartstrings. I watched Sarah workshop that special soo many times, and Mike, wow. I just love listening to him talk. Two great specials about the fragility and humor of family, aging parents, and maybe even the meaning of life?
The state of the world makes me miss VEEP. Might be time for a rewatch to remind myself it’s not that serious?
I see no difference
Tires Season 2 premiered on Netflix this weekend! Lots of familiar faces for guest stars go check it out!
Brittany Broski. Need I say more. I implore you, check out her podcast the Broski Report for an hour every week that feels like talking to a friend where you don’t have to contribute a damn thing. What more could you ask for?
She’s funny as hell, plus wise and sincere, and she articulates the stuff we’re all thinking. If Brittany has no fans I. AM. DEAD.
@crunchylipoma SHE IS SO DAMN FUNNY #fyp #broskination #broski #broski #foryoupage #fy #foryoupagethis #foryoupage❤️❤️ #broskireport #broskis #fypppppppp... See more
Don’t have 3 hours to see the new Mission Impossible? Check this out instead! You’ll get the idea.
Paul W. Downs on Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.
like are you kidding
John Mulaney’s show Everybody’s Live ended two weeks ago and I actually don’t know what to talk about anymore. If you want to hear some smart people talk about it, check out John and Matt Belloni on The Town. Or ask me what I think or whatever.

Old School
Speaking of Veep, Julia on Jiminy Glick. JiminyGlick in general actually. Martin Short really is the GOAT.
